Danni Leigh

Danni Leigh is a contemporary country music singer who made her first public performance at the age of three, singing with her preschool choir. At 19 she relocated to Orlando with the intention of auditioning as a singer at Disney World, but ended up singing in clubs before moving to Nashville.

Although Danni Leigh has limited success in the US, she’s more popular in Europe and has also developed a following in Korea, Brazil and Japan. In 1999, she was nominated for the Rising Star Trophy, a British Country Music Award.

Sometimes, in the middle of the day
When the sun is high in the sky
It can be a hundred degrees
And a shiver of lonesome runs through meAnd sometimes, in the dark of the night
Covered up, safe and warm
I can be fast asleep
And a shiver of lonesome runs through meDon’t know why every time you cross my mind
I can feel that old chill run down my spine
I can know that I’m over you
I can be so sure of myself
Feel so free, then just one memory
And a shiver of lonesome runs through meDon’t know why every time you cross my mind
I can feel that old chill run down my spine
I can know that I’m over you
I can be so sure of myself
Feel so free, then just one memory
And a shiver of lonesome runs through meFeel so free, then just one memory
And a shiver of lonesome runs through me
