Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks – American country music singer and songwriter Troyal Garth Brooks was born on February 7, 1962 in Oklahoma.

As a child, Garth often sang in casual family setting.  After University Garth began his professional music career, singing and playing guitar in Oklahoma bars and clubs.  After hearing the song Unwound by George Strait, Garth Brooks decided that he was more interested in playing country music, and after a move to Nashville, Tennessee, Garth Brooks’ integration of rock elements into his recordings and live performances earned him immense popularity. This progressive approach allowed him to dominate the country single and album charts while crossing over into the mainstream pop arena.

Garth Brooks became one of the best-selling music artists of all time and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2012. He is married to Trisha Yearwood.

  1. Just listened to your Thunder Rolls track. I was hoping it would be the extended version as heard on the ‘Double Live’ cd but never mind. have to say it’s a great track never the less, shame there’s no backing vocals but that can be sorted. I love the ending!
