Hair The Musical

Hair The Musical

Hair is a rock musical with a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot.

Hair explores many of the themes of the hippie movement of the 1960s and tells the story not just of the characters, but of universal themes of life. The ‘Tribe’ that are featured in the story are a group of counter-culture hippies living as bohemians in New York and their struggles trying to balance political activities with day to day ‘normal’ life.
