Martha Reeves

Martha Rose Reeves was born in Eufaula, Alabama, on 18th July, 1941. She is an American R&B and pop singer, a former politician, and lead singer of the Motown group Martha Reeves and The Vandellas who have had many hit singles; including “Come and Get These Memories,” “Nowhere to Run”, ” “Heat Wave,” (Grammy nominated), Jimmy Mack”, and “Dancing In The Street”. From 2005 until 2009, Reeves served as an elected council woman for the city of Detroit, Michigan.
