Train are an American rock and formed in 1993 by Pat Monahan and Rob Hotchkiss. They performed as a duo for some time before deciding to create a full band when they recruited Jimmy Stafford, Charlie Colin and Scott Underwood (the line up has changed considerably over the years). In 1996 Train were turned down by Columbia Records as a new signing, so decided to release their first album “Train” independently and by 1997 were touring nationally (US) mainly as a support act.

Train have released several albums, won awards from the Grammys, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards amongst others, with 2017 seeing them doing a sell out cruise tour.

Train started the Save Me, San Francisco Wine Company in 2011 in partnership with ACME Wine Movers.  The business sells wine that is named after the group’s various hits, which include: Drops of Jupiter, Calling All Angels, Soul Sister, California 37 and Hella Fine.  The company also partnered with Ghirardelli Chocolate Company to sell chocolates and confections to pair with the wine. A portion of the proceeds go to the Family House of San Francisco, which supports families of sick children.
